Silk Painting For Teens

Two workshops for 10 - 16 year olds to introduce techniques for using gutta and silk paints, including the use of layers of paint. It will take place in the cafe’s creative Hub on Friday 11th August and Friday 18th August.

Silk paints are wonderfully vibrant and can be used to produce a variety of effects.  

The workshop is suitable for beginners and those with more experience. Week one will focus on using gutta to create outlines. This will then need to dry. Week two will focus on using coloured silk paints to complete the work. Ideally attendance at both workshops is best, but simple work can be completed in one week.

All materials will be provided.
